Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after placing your order on said item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, uninstalled or unused, with tags or labels, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 


Returned items that are not sealed in the original packaging, unopened and uninstalled are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

Items that are used, or installed may be eligible for return, but will be subject to a prorated return based on condition of item, original box and if it contains all paperwork or documentation and its overall resale-ability. Eligibility and amount to be determined on a case by case basis, at no less than 30% of the sale price. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. 


To start a return, you can contact us at brandon@northlightingconceptsllc.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please provide as many details as possible, as well as photos of the item, the box and overall condition. All return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Your satisfaction is our top priority.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as retrofits), large or bulky / heavy items or special order items. Those sales are final. All gift card sales are final. No gift card, or sales made with a gift card will be issues a refund as cash. Any sale that has the use of a gift card will be issued back onto a gift card, regardless of the amount of the sale. We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on clearance items, close out or special promotional items and gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. Exchanges are subject to the same guidelines as returns. 


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. If not approved, we will contact you to discuss the next steps.
Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Return Shipping

Return shipping will be the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed upon. Items without a return authorization or approval will not be accepted nor returned. Items sent without a return authorization will be ineligible for a refund.
